It added that Syria has informed the UN and CWC of data about the entry of trucks loaded with poisonous substances through Baba al-Hawa crossing point on Feb.22, 2018 and Jabaht al-Nusra’s hiding of weapons and Sarin gas inside an archeological region in Idleb countryside on Feb.20, 2018.

“The Syrian Arab Republic, which has repeatedly affirmed its non-possession of any form of chemical weapons, and its non-use of chlorine gas as a weapon, reiterates that it is the first meant side in defending its citizens and in preventing the use of poisonous materials on its territory,” the statement affirmed.

It concluded that Syria condemns any use of such weapons in any place and at any time.
