Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly rise to become around average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, local rain showers are expected to fall in various areas across the country.
The Department warned against the formation of frost and ice in the mountains and fog in some inland areas.
The wind will be western to northwestern of low and moderate speed, while the sea waves will be moderate in amplitude.
The heaviest rain amounts during the past 24 hours reached 46mm in Lattakia and 45mm in Tartous according to the rain bulletin issued by the Ministry of agriculture and Agrarian Reform.
The rain amounts according to the bulletin in some main Syrian provinces are as follows: 9mm in Damascus, 2,5mm in Sweida, 4mm in Daraa, 40mm in Quneitra, 28mm in Homs, 28mm in Hama, 25mm in Aleppo and 18mm in Hasaka.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 10/03, Daraa 11/03, Homs 14/03, Hama 15/04, Lattakia 15/08, Aleppo 09/03 and Deir Ezzor 12/05.
