Damascus, SANA – Temperatures remain above average by 4 to 6 degrees as the country is affected by superficial low air pressure accompanied with high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds, while the weather will be misty in the eastern areas, al-Jazira and al-Badia desert and partly cold at night over the mountains.
The winds will be changeable to southeasterly of low to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 24/11, Daraa 25/12, Homs 27/8, Hama 26/9, Lattakia 25/14, Aleppo 25/10 and Deir Ezzor 25/12.
