Ministry of Health launches National Vaccination Days targeting children under five

Damascus, SANA- Ministry of Health launched the National Vaccination Days on Tuesday till April 27th targeting children under five via health centers and mobile teams in conjunction with the
World Immunization Week.

The vaccination days, titled My Health in My Vaccination, include an anti-polio vaccination campaign and a campaign for enhancing the regular vaccinations.

Earlier, Minister of Health Nizar Yazaji told SANA that the campaign aims at reaching 2.7 million children under five through health centers in the provinces and mobile teams.

The Minister affirmed that the used vaccines are safe and for free and that they are exported from the best factories which have international quality certificates.

According to the Ministry of Health 9 thousand health workers and supervisors are participating in the campaign in addition to 379 volunteers and 813 cars assigned for mobile teams.
