Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Ministry announced that Russia’s Aerospace Force dealt scores of air strikes against ISIS terrorists, in the framework of Russia’s continued support to the Syrian Arab Army’s military operations against Takfiri terrorism in Aleppo eastern countryside.
“Russia’s Aerospace Force during the past week dealt 452 strikes against the positions of ISIS terrorists in the eastern countryside of Aleppo. More than 600 militants, 16 armored vehicles, 41 pickup trucks carrying heavy machine-guns and 30 motor vehicles have been eliminated,” Chief of the General Staff’s main operations directorate, Sergey Rudskoy said in a press conference Friday.
Earlier, the Syrian armed forces recaptured from terrorists the two water pumping stations in al-Khafsa and restored security and stability to 19 villages and towns in Aleppo eastern countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists in personnel and weaponry.
In another context, Rudskoy pointed that two humanitarian convoys carrying food sets, drinking water and basic necessities were sent to settlements in the Manbij city area.
