Seventy-one gunmen in Homs and Damascus countryside turn themselves in to authorities

Homs, Damascus countryside- A source in Homs told SANA on Wednesday that 61 gunmen from Talbeisa and Qseir towns turned themselves in to the authorities after pledging not to carry out any act that affects the Homeland’s security and stability.

The move comes in cooperation with the National Commission for reconciliation in Homs.

Meanwhile, a source in Damascus countryside told SANA that 10 gunmen from Kanaker town in Damascus countryside also turned themselves in to the authorities after promising not to do any act that targets the citizens’ security.

Last week, 289 wanted persons from the provinces of Idleb, Homs, Damascus and its countryside turned themselves in to authorities to have their legal files settled.
