Russian Defense Ministry: More than 45 tons of Christmas gifts from Russian to Syrian children to be sent

Moscow, SANA – The Russian Foreign Ministry said that it will send more than 45 tons of Christmas gifts for the Syrian children.

A statement published by the Information Department at the Russian Defense Ministry said that children of Kursk and Vologda collected for their fellow children in Syria a lot of gifts that include different sorts of traditional toys, post cards, and school supplies as part of the the program “From the Russian Children to the Children in Syria.”

Each participating student wrote their Christmas wishes on a card accompanying the gifts, which were collected from ten Russian areas and delivered to Chkalovsky Airport in Moscow, from which they will be sent to Hmeimim Airbase in Syria.
