Prime Minister affirms government’s readiness to offer full support to develop SARC work

Damascus, SANA-Prime Minister Imad Khamis affirmed on Monday the government’s readiness to offer full support to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and enable it to enhance its positive role and do its humanitarian work to the fullest in facing the terrorist war experienced by Syria.

During a meeting with a number of heads of SARC branches in Syrian provinces, Khamis hailed the great efforts of SARC under exceptional circumstances to reduce the effects of the terrorist war on various aspects of Syrians’ lives.

He pointed out that the meeting aims at outlining a new work vision to benefit from the valuable experiences of the SARC staff to develop work mechanism in which efforts are integrated with government establishments to address gaps hindering its work and to achieve its goals in the best way.

For their part, the participants in the meeting affirmed that the SARC works in coordination with the government, adding that the SARC is currently working on devising a mechanism on new bases for an effective takeoff of its work.
