312 students qualify for Syrian Science Olympiad finals

Damascus, SANA – 312 10th grade students from all provinces have been qualified for the final competitions of the Syrian Science Olympiad which are scheduled to be held early next year.

Last Sunday, 2334 10th grade students participated in the third phase of the tests of the Syrian Science Olympiad, which were organized by the Ministry of Education in cooperation with the National Commission for the Syrian Science Olympiad and the Revolutionary Youth Union on the provinces level in the subjects of math, physics, chemistry, IT, and biology.

The winners will be prepared to take part in the international Olympiads next July which are: the International Mathematical Olympiad in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, the International Physics Olympiads in Indonesia, International Chemistry Olympiad in Thailand, International Informatics Olympiad in Iran, and the International Biology Olympiad in UK.
