Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will remain around average or slightly higher as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general and that thundershowers might fall over the southern and southwestern areas in the afternoon and the evening while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya “desert” areas.
At night, the weather will be cold over the mountains and in some of the inland areas.
The wind will be changeable to southeasterly with a low speed and the sea waves will be of low height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to drop to become below average in most areas and local rain showers are expected in different areas.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 27/11, Daraa 28/12, Homs 28/12, Lattakia 28/16, Aleppo 27/12 and Deir Ezzor 29/13.
