Monday weather: Temperatures above average, skies clear

Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will remain from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya “desert” areas.

The wind will be changeable to southeasterly with a low speed and the sea waves will be low in height.

Tomorrow, the temperatures will slightly drop, yet they will remain from 1 to 3 degrees above average and the skies will be cloudy in general and local rain showers are expected in the coastal and northwestern areas.

The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 31/17, Daraa 32/17, Homs 30/13, Lattakia 30/16, Aleppo 30/15 and Deir Ezzor 32/16.
