Damascus, SANA – Temperatures continue to drop to become 1 to 3 degrees below average as the country is affected by southeastern low air pressure accompanied by low air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general with a chance of local showers over the coastal, northern, and al-Jazira areas, and that the weather will be misty over the eastern and al-Badiya (desert) areas.
The winds will be westerly of moderate speed accompanied by active blows and will change to be northwesterly at night. The wind speed will be light to moderate.
The sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 31/18, Daraa 30/16, Homs 27/18, Hama 29/19, Lattakia 28/24, Aleppo 31/17 and Deir Ezzor 33/18.
