Russian Defense Ministry: Washington and the armed groups didn’t not implement any terms of the truce regime

Moscow, SANA-The Russian Defense Ministry said that the United States and the armed groups have not implemented any terms of the recent Geneva agreement about the truce regime in Syria.

Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Sergei Rudskoy said at a press conference on Monday that the US has not committed to the separation between the opposition and Jabhat al-Nusra organization.

Rodskoy noted that the armed groups violated the truce 302 times since it came into effect on September 12th, causing the death of 73 civilians and injuring 252 others.

He affirmed that the Syrian and Russian sides carried out all their obligations in the framework of Geneva agreement.

Rodskoy said that the humanitarian aid did not enter the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo because the armed groups did not withdraw from the area surrounding Castillo.
