120 Palestinians killed by Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, death toll rises to 1,763

Gaza, SANA –For the 28th day in a row, the Israeli occupation continued its savage aggression on Gaza Strip on Sunday morning, killing 120 Palestinians and injuring more than 230.

Ten Palestinians were martyred and more than 30 were injured after shelling one of the schools of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in Rafah city to south of Gaza.

1 Palestinian Wafaa News and Information Agency quoted Palestinian medical sources as saying “Ten Palestinian martyrs and more than 30 wounded came to one of the hospitals in Rafah after the Israeli warplanes shelled one of the UNRWA schools which contains hundreds of the displaced Palestinians.”

38 Palestinians were also martyred on Sunday in the Israeli airstrikes launched on different areas across Gaza Strip, and scores were wounded.

The Palestinian medical sources added that the number of the Palestinians who were martyred in the draconian Israeli aggression rose to 1,780 while the number of the wounded reached more than 9,100. 2

Israeli occupation army admits one of its officers Killed in Gaza

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army admitted that one of its officers who was declared missing since Friday was killed while participating in the aggression against Gaza.

The AFP quoted the occupation army as saying in statement that a “special committee” announced the death of officer Hadar Golden, adding that “he was killed in Friday clashes in Gaza Strip.”

Israeli  military spokeswoman rejected to answer a question on whether the body of the killed officer was found or not.

The number of the Israeli officers whose death has been admitted by the occupation army since the beginning of the aggression against Gaza reached 64.
