Hama, SANA-Hama governor Dr. Ghassan Khalaf said the sacrifices of the army and armed forces in the battle against terrorist groups will restore security and stability all over Syria.
The governor’s comments came during his visit Monday to military checkpoints in Hama city on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr holiday.
The achievements of the Syrian army have laid to rest the illusions of mercenaries, said the governor, who also visited injured army soldiers at Hama national hospital and makeshift shelters in the city.
Secretary of al-Baath Party branch in Hama Mohammad al-Imadi, who accompanied the governor in the visit, saluted the Syrian army, hailing their unparalleled sacrifices in the face of terrorism.
