Damascus, SANA – Temperatures will drop to become around average in most areas as the country is influenced by the Indian low pressure system accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Badiya (desert) and al-Jazira areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly of moderate speed and sometimes active with dust in some inland areas, while the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 35/22, Daraa 33/22, Homs 31/22, Lattakia 29/23, Aleppo 35/22 and Deir Ezzor 40/24.
