Humanitarian aid offered by Russia distributed to displaced families in Lattakia

Lattakia, SANA- A new batch of humanitarian aid offered by Russia and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) had been distributed to the displaced families in Lattakia province.

The aid, which includes food, children’s stuff and flour, was distributed among tens of displaced families who are currently living in Jihad al-Mashi and Kersana makeshift centers.

In parallel with the distribution of the aid, medical checkups, medical care and medicines were administered to the families through a mobile clinic.

Representative of the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim, who is in charge of supervising the aid distribution, said that Russia will continue to provide food and humanitarian aid to the Syrians, particularly in areas where security and stability been restored.

For their part, the families hailed the efforts of the SARC in helping the displaced people and expressed their appreciation to the Russian support for Syrians during the terrorist war waged against their country.
