Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to drop to become around average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by cold and relatively wet air mass.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy rainy in general, the rain falls are expected to be heavy sometimes.
The wind will be westerly to southerly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be medium to high in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 14/05, Daraa 14/05, Homs 17/04, Hama 18/05, Hasaka 16/05, Lattakia 17/10, Aleppo 14/04 and Deir Ezzor15/07.
Rain fell in various areas across the country during the past 24 hours according the rain bulletin of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reforms.
The heaviest rainfalls were 51 mm in Quneitra province, 30 mm in Homs province, while the amounts of the rainfalls in other Syrian provinces were as follows:
Damascus and its Countryside 23 mm, Sweida 7.5 mm, Daraa 9mm, Quneitra 51mm, Homs 30 mm
Hama 20mm, Tartous 23 mm, Lattakia 19mm, Aleppo 4mm, Idleb 8.5 mm and Hasaka 6mm.
