Syrian Red Crescent medical aid convoy enters Douma

Damascus Countryside, SANA – A Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) medical aid convoy made its way into Douma city in Damascus Countryside on Saturday.

Operations Director at the SARC Hazem Baqleh told SANA in a statement that the aid included 5400 infant formula milk cans, 2000 insulin boxes, supplies for 250 dialysis sessions and medicines for chronic diseases.

He noted that today’s convoy is part of aid delivered to Douma city every two to three months.

In mid January, a humanitarian aid convoy of 45 lorries made its way into Madaya town in Damascus countryside, at the same time when 18 lorries carrying humanitarian assistance entered the terrorist-besieged towns of Kefraya and al-Fouaa in Idleb province.
