Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue dropping to become 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is under the influence of low air pressure accompanied by a cold and wet air mass in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin the weather will continue to be cloudy and rainy at intervals over most areas, and the rain falls will be heavy and sometimes accompanied by thunder as there will be snow falls over the mountainous heights.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly of moderate speed with strong blows.
The sea waves will be of medium to high amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some of the main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 09/04, Daraa 10/05, Homs 10/03, Hama 12/ 04, Hasaka 10/03, Lattakia 15/11, Tartous 15/10, Aleppo 07/02 and Deir Ezzor 11/03.
There were already rainfalls in various areas across the country over the past 24 hours. The heaviest rainfall was recorded in Hama countryside 120 mm.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform rain bulletin, the amounts of rainfall reached 23 mm in Damascus and its countryside, 40 mm in Quneitra, 40 mm in Homs, 80 mm in Hama, 120 mm in Hama countryside, 92 mm in Tartous, 93 mm in Lattakia, 21mm in Aleppo, 10 mm in Hasaka.
