Lattakia, SANA, Directed by President Bashar al-Assad, Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, Chief of General Staff of the Army and Armed Forces Gen. Ali Ayoub, accompanied by senior armed forces officers, inspected army units in the northern countryside of Lattakia.
Gen. Ayoub observed fighting operations in Salma town and its vicinity, met soldiers and hailed their high morale and heroic determination to eliminate terrorism and their Takfiri gangs.
Gen. Ayoub was briefed, by field commanders, on the military process and operations of the army in facing terrorism where he affirmed the importance of what has been achieved in this regard to be a guarantee for upcoming victory.
In turn, Commanders assured Chied of Staff that they will keep fighting terrorists to keep the homeland safe.
