Aleppo, SANA – Iran’s Ambassador in Syria Mohammad Riza Shibani stressed his country’s ultimate support to Syria against terrorism.
During his meeting with Aleppo Governor Mohammad Marwan Olabi in Aleppo on Wednesday, Shibani said Iran’s support is to return the favor of the Syrian leadership and people for their support for the Iranian Islamic Revolution.
He hailed the steadfastness of the Aleppo people in face of terrorism, expressing his faith in the ability of the Syrian people and army to win the battel against terrorism.
In turn, Olabi thanked Iran for its support to Syria, adding that the Syrians are united behind their army in the face of the internationally-supported terrorism.
