Russians celebrate October Revolution, Express support to Syria

Moscow, SANA- Head of the Russian Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov condemned the terrorist acts perpetrated by the United States and other NATO countries against Russia and their interference in the internal affairs of the independent sovereign countries.

In a celebration festival held before the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow Saturday on the 98th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution of 1917, members and leadership of the Russian Communist Party, voiced firm stances in supporting Syria, its leadership and people, in facing the terrorist war waged by Takfiri terrorists with the aim of partitioning it.

The participants expressed concern over the conspiracy hatched against Syria and the flow of the terrorists into it, hailing the resilience of the Syrian people in facing the schemes plotted by the Imperialistic, western reactionary and Arab countries in the region.

They chanted slogans hailing the close friendship relations connecting Russia and Syria.
The October Revolution, officially known as the Great October Socialist Revolution and commonly referred to as Red October, or the Bolshevik Revolution, was led by Vladimir Lenin. The revolution led for the formation of the Soviet Union in 1922.
