Wednesday weather: Temperatures continue dropping, rainfalls in various areas

 

Damascus, SANA The temperatures continue dropping to be around average or slightly lower as the country is under the influence of low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy and the weather will be rainy, with heavy rainfalls expected over the northwestern and southern region, while it will be misty in the eastern region and al-Badia.

The winds will be westerly of light to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be of low to medium amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 26/15, Aleppo 27/14, Homs 27/15, Hama 28/15 and Lattakia 28/20.

There were already rainfalls in various areas across the country over the past 24 hours. The heaviest rainfall was recorded in Lattakia province, especially in Slunfeh 43 mm, al-Mzeiraa 34 mm and in Wadi Qandil 26 mm.
