Kuwait, SANA- The Syrian U-16 football team drew with its Kuwaiti counterpart 0/0 in a match held in Kuwait on Sunday within the second round of the 6th group competitions in the qualifications of the AFC Asian Cup.

The match result led the the team to fail in reaching the AFC Asian Cup finals scheduled to be held in India next year.

Last Wednesday, the Syrian U-16 football team lost two points in the qualifications of the AFC Asian Cup after drawing with its Afghani counterpart 2/2.
