Monday weather forecast: Temperatures drop, rainshowers expected

Damascus, SANA Temperatures are expected to become around their average as the country is still affected by southeastern low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The expected temperatures in some cities are as follows: Damascus 33/18, Sweida: 30/18, Tartous: 29/20, Hasaka: 38/21 and Deir Ezzor: 38/23.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies are partly cloudy in general with a chance of showers in various areas across the country.

The winds are western to northwesterly of moderate speed, while the sea waves are of moderate amplitude.

On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to rise to become higher than average, while the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general.
