Five civilians killed, 30 injured in terrorist rocket attack on gas station in Homs

Homs, SANA- Five civilians were killed and at least 30 others were injured when a rocket shell fired by terrorists fell on a gas station in al-Insha’at neighborhood in Homs city on Wednesday.

A source in Homs province told SANA reporter that terrorists launched a rocket shell on Wednesday afternoon which fell in the yard of Ma’amo gas station in al-Insha’at neighborhood while a fuel truck was delivering a shipment, resulting in the explosion of the tank, killing a number of civilians, injuring others, and causing material damages to the station.

The source explained that the shell was launched from Talbeeseh in the northern countryside of Homs where terrorist organization under the leadership of Jabhat al-Nusra are active, including the so-called Homs Legion, Khaled Bin al-Waleed Brigade, al-Farouq Brigade, and Ahrar al-Sham Movement.

Health Director in Homs Dr. Hassan al-Jundi said that hospitals received the bodies of five civilians in addition to admitting 30 injured civilians, most of them suffering from burns as a result of the explosion.
