Occupied Jerusalem, SANA – Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Sebastia Atallah Hanna reiterated solidarity with Syria in the face of the killing and destruction inflicted upon it.
“We especially express solidarity with Syria that is wounded and being targeted, and we pray that this sabotage and destruction be stopped,” said Archbishop Hanna, speaking in a sermon in Occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday.
He also prayed for the return of Aleppo bishops who were abducted by terrorist groups more than two years ago, and for the return of all other abductees.
Jerusalem Archbishop called for replacing the language of violence, killing and destruction with the language of dialogue, love and peace in the Arab countries.
On Monday evening, Hanna, heading a delegation of Christian clergymen, paid a visit to al- Aqsa Mosque to show solidarity with those who staged a sit-in at the Mosque and condemn the Israeli arbitrary measures against the Islamic sanctities.
