Al-Moallem reiterates government’s keenness to meet the main needs of its people

Damascus, SANA- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem reiterated, during meeting Stephen O’Brien, Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief on Sunday, that the Syrian government is keen to meet the main needs of its people, who face a fateful battle against the Takfiri terrorism supported by known powers and countries that work to destroy the Syrian people’s civil and historic achievements.

Al-Moallem pointed out that the loyalty of some workers at the humanitarian domain affected cooperation between the Syrian government and UN in the past stage, as it has been proved through truths and facts, that a lot of the aid provided to Syria in reality aimed at serving those countries and powers’ agendas rather offering aid to the Syrian people.

In turn, O’Brien voiced readiness to cooperate with the Syrian government, asserting that his visit to Syria aims to think up a real conception of the Syrian government’ needs and its efforts to provide the humanitarian aid for the Syrian people.
