Provinces, SANA – One woman was killed and 14 others were injured in a terrorist attack using a motorbike rigged with explosives in al-Sharia neighborhood in Hama city on Friday.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that one woman was killed and 14 civilians, some of them children, were injured after terrorists detonated a motorbike they had rigged with explosives and parked in al-Baghdadi roundabout in al-Sharia neighborhood, which is located in the eastern part of the city.
The source said that the wounded were injured to the Medical Center Hospital and Hama National Hospital, adding that the attack also damaged a number of cars in the area.
In Damascus city, nine civilians, two of them children, were injured on Friday evening in a terrorist mortar attack on the residential neighborhood of on al-Somariye.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that terrorists fired three shells on al-Somariye which is located in the western outskirts of Damascus, injuring nine civilians including two children ages 9 and 10, in addition to causing material damage to private properties.
A source at Al-Muwasat Hospital confirmed that 7 people with injuries caused by shrapnel from shells were brought to the hospital from al-Somariye, and that they included two children and two women.
