Damascus, SANA – Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi on Saturday met the Egyptian and Jordanian delegations participating in the International Media Conference Against Terrorism which was concluded today in Damascus.
During the meetings, al-Zoubi stressed the need to put the decisions made during the conference into effect as to confront Takfiri terrorism and those who support it, asserting that the situation in Syria is improving.
He also noted that Syria hasn’t abandoned its pan-Arab and nationalist positions or its commitment to the Palestinian cause despite the war waged on it in which some Arab sides took part.
For their part, members of the Egyptian delegation stressed the need to realize the declaration issued at the conclusion of the conference in terms of preparing to launch an international media conglomeration to combat terrorism, while the Jordanian delegation’s members voiced their support for Syria in its war on terrorism.
