Authorities prevent attempt to smuggle two archeological artifacts in Hasaka

Hasaka, SANA – The authorities in Hasaka prevented an attempt to smuggle two stolen archeological artifacts that were found in the possession of a person transporting them via a dirt road in al-Hol area in the province’s countryside.

A source at the province told SANA that the artifacts are a seal and a small figurine of a horse’s head, and that the artifacts and the person with whom they were found were referred to the relevant authorities.
