Damascus, SANA- Food Expo exhibition 2015 launched its activities on Monday with the participation of tens of companies specialized in nutritional industries under the motto “Our hope is big and our efforts continue for modern Syria.”
“The exhibition is a message that the Syrians are determined to continue production and work,” Industry Minister Kamal Eddin Toma said, adding that exhibitions are social, economic and shopping phenomenon which plays an important role to introduce the consumers to the productions and the way of marketing them.
For his part, Minister of Internal Trade and consumer Protection Hassan Safiya said the exhibition indicates the continuity of Syrian industry in spite of the 5-year crisis, pointing out to the diversity of the displayed productions.
“Although all difficulties which faced the Syrians, the industrialists are still producing, marketing and importing to meet the demands of the market and the basic needs of consumers,” Chairman of Chambers of Commerce Ghassan al-Qalaa said.
The exhibition is organized by Delta Group at Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus.
