Lattakia Governor discusses with ICRC delegation the urgent needs of Lattakia province

Lattakia, SANA- Lattakia Governor Ibrahim Khodr al-Salem discussed on Monday with Silvia Enzo, who is Director of Tartous Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and her accompanying delegation the most pressing needs of the province.

Both sides discussed the possibility of meeting the citizens’ needs by ICRC to serve the people of the province and the arrivals from other provinces who escaped terrorist organizations’ acts.

During a press statement following the meeting, al-Salem affirmed that the meeting aimed to identify the needs of the province following the increasing numbers of arrivals from other provinces, particularly in issues related to water and bakeries.

The governor clarified that the delegation promised to respond during the coming days to the demands of the province for providing the best services for citizens.
