Interior Ministry: A truck loaded with a ton of Hashish seized in Damascus

Damascus, SANA-Interior Ministry said on Tuesday that the Narcotics’ Combating Department had confiscated a truck loaded with a ton of Hashish in Damascus.

The quantity of Hashish was prepared to be smuggled to an Arab country. Driver of the truck was arrested.

On May 7^th, the Ministry’s Drug Combating Department arrested a woman for smuggling drugs in Damascus.

The authorities seized 1700 grams of hashish and an amount of heroin packed in canned food.
