Aleppo, SANA-Upon the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, Commander-in -chief of the army and armed forces, Minister of Defense Fahd Jasem al-Freij visited on Tuesday a number of military units and points in the industrial city and the vicinity in Aleppo countryside.
Al-Freij, also Deputy Commander-of-Chief of the army, accompanied by a number of officers, met Syrian soldiers, inspecting conditions of their tasks and the missions they carry out while confronting the Takfiri terrorist organizations.
He appreciated the efforts exerted by heroes of the army, day and night, to protect the dignity of Homeland and people.
“What Syria faces today of unprecedented terrorist escalation and fabricated propagandas are clear expression of the failure of conspiracy powers and their bankruptcy in achieving their colonial project, particularly in light of the heroic achievements of our soldiers in many regions of the country,” Al-Freij said.
He added the Syrian people’s awareness and their unity with the army have dropped campaigns of seditions and lies.
The Minister affirmed that the General Leadership of the army is proud of the sacrifices of the army’s soldiers and officers in Aleppo and the remaining parts of Syria.
The army soldiers, for their part, affirmed they will remain loyal to the Homeland’s soil and defenders of its dignity to restore peace and stability to the whole country.
