Damascus, SANA – The Cabinet discussed on Tuesday a number of economic and services issues, the most important of them being how to provide the requirements of local industries and relaunching production in industrial cities and zones, in addition to delivering aid to Deir Ezzor province.
Chairing the weekly session, Prime Minister Wael al-Halaqi instructed the Industry Minister and the Economy and Foreign Trade Minister to work towards securing the needs of industries and protect them, in addition to reevaluating establishments that are losing money.
He also tasked the Economy and Foreign Trade Minister with studying the bill of the new investment law.
In turn, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem, reviewed the latest political developments in the world, with al-Moallem holding Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey responded for the escalating activities of terrorists in most areas, particularly in Idleb.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister for Services Affairs, Local Administration Minister Omar Ghalawanji, reviewed the state of services and relief work in all areas, particularly in Deir Ezzor city.
The Cabinet also discussed a bill on establishing a holding company for managing and investing properties of administrative units and a bill amending the law on the General Establishment for Housing.
