Bratislava, SANA- Syrian students in Slovakia affirmed, on the 69th anniversary of the evacuation of French occupiers from Syria (Independence Day), their support to the homeland in confronting the conspiracies hatched against it.
The Evacuation Day will remain in the history of Syria as a symbol of fighting occupation for achieving independence and protecting the freedom of the homeland and citizens, the students said in a statement on Wednesday.
“Syria has been supporting, since the evacuation, the Arab just causes, particularly the Palestinian one”, they added.
The students clarified that the evacuation anniversary coincides with the victories achieved by the Syrian people and army who foiled the international and regional-backed conspiracies against Syria.
The students hailed the national reconciliations and holding the 2nd round of the consultative meetings in Moscow to reach a political solution for the crisis in Syria, describing such steps as a ”good initiative” that necessitates others to deal seriously with it.
