15 tons of expired raw materials and medicines confiscated in Homs

Homs, SANA- The Customs department in Homs province confiscated 15 tons of expired raw materials and medicines that were loaded in a truck heading to Aleppo.

The expiration date of some of the confiscated materials is 2011, a source at the department told SANA, pointing out that they face fines of SYP 8.5 million.

The truck’s driver was arrested, the source said.

On Tuesday, 17 packages of expired jam were confiscated in the northeastern Hasaka province.
