Damascus, SANA- Foreign and Arab delegations participating in the 9th General Conference of the Revolutionary Youth Union (RYU) affirmed their support and solidarity with the Syrian people and government in confronting the global war waged against Syria.
During the RYU conference, the representative of Venezuelan Communist Youth, Gabriel Aguirre said the Venezuelan people and government support Syria’s leadership, government and people, asserting that the two countries’ struggle against Imperialism and its plans to control the whole region has failed by peoples’ resistance and steadfastness.
For his part, Deputy chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea’s (DPRK) Youth Union, Jong Yunng Un hailed the success of the Syrian people in thwarting the conspiracies against their homeland as a success to DPRK, asserting that what is taking place in Syria is due to its steadfast stances in the face of the US conspiracies that support the Israeli occupation’s policies.
Representative of the opposition Youth Battalions of Lebanon, Issa Nahas considered that Syria’s victory against terrorism is not only for the Syrian people but also for the whole free peoples in the world, noting that Syria and Lebanon are standing in the same trench in fighting Takfiri terrorism.
Activities of the RYU ‘s 9th General Conference, that began on Tuesday at Al-Fayhaa Sports Complex in Damascus, coincide with celebrations of the 68th anniversary of establishing Al-Baath Arab Socialist Party.
