Qatna discusses with delegation of ABU the development of cooperation in the field of beekeeping

Damascus, SANA-The Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Eng. Muhammad Hassan Qatna, discussed with a delegation from the Arab Beekeepers Union(ABU) headed by the head of Jordanian Beekeepers Union, Eng. Moaz Sobhi Kazem, means of enhancing cooperation between the two sides to develop beekeeping in the Arab countries.

During the meeting, Qatna stressed the importance of continuing to develop the beekeeping profession and providing everything necessary to preserve it and eliminate diseases to which bees are exposed in Arab countries.

For his part,Kazem, noted the significance of developing cooperation and benefiting from the advanced expertise possessed by the Syrian Ministry of Agriculture to develop beekeeping in Arab countries.
