Damascus-SANA- The Jurisprudential and Scholarly Council at the Ministry of Endowments announced that the first day of Eid al-Adha is Sunday, June 16th, 2024.
“After the sighting of the crescent moon of the month of Dhul Hijjah for the year 1445 AH, Saturday, June 15, 2024 AD will be the Day of Arafah(Arafat) ; thus Sunday, June 16 is the first day of Eid al-Adha”, the council stated in a statement posted on its Facebook page today.
