With participation of Syria, Arab Labor Conference starts in Baghdad

Baghdad, SANA- With the participation of a Syrian delegation headed by Ambassador Sattam Jadaan Al-Dandah, the 50th session of Arab Labor Conference began in Baghdad on Saturday and will last till May 4th.

During his speech at the conference opening session, Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani strongly condemned ongoing Zionist aggression on Gaza Strip and depriving the Palestinians of food, medicine and safe housing.

He also called on international community to stop this aggression, which violates all international laws.

Al-Sudani went on saying that the conference holds additional responsibilities regarding the labor market needs, asserting his aspiration to build modern labor institutions in Arab countries.

The conference members elected Ambassador al-Dandah as rapporteur of the conference’s organizing committee.

Al-Dandah underlined, in a statement to SANA in Baghdad, that the importance of the conference lies in examining the future of human resources in light of big technological development, developing productive work and how to develop Arab integration in the field of human resources.
