Damascus, SANA- Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabbaa, and the Iranian Ambassador in Damascus, Mahdi Sobhani have inspected the progress of the educational process at the Iranian International School in Kafr Souseh.
During their visit to the school, Minister Tabbaa and Sobhani were briefed on the smart technologies used in the lessons, the gymnasium, the library, the vocational education hall, and the science laboratory.
At the end of the tour, a film about the educational renaissance in Iran was screened.
Ambassador Sobhani clarified that the visit was to stand on the educational and training side and the activities of the school.
The Ambassador noted that the children of the Iranian employees of the embassy and the Iranian community in Syria are studying in the school as the number of its students is 218, and its educational staff is from Iran and the teaching system in it is the same approved by the Ministry of Education in Iran.
He stressed the necessity of exchanging experiences and boosting relations between the education ministries in the two countries.
In turn, Minister Tabbaa said that there are several international schools in Syria, including Pakistani, Iranian and others, and that the Syrian Ministry of Education is working to secure the necessary services for these schools.
