Damascus, SANA-Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Bassam Touma discussed Thursday with the ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Syria, Mr. Jose Gregorio Biomorgi Muzattiz the prospects of bilateral cooperation in oil field given Venezuela’s vast petroleum reserves.
The two sides attached great importance to upgrading the economic relation up to the level of deep-rooted historic friendship the two countries share.
Additionally, both sides agreed to hold a video conference with Venezuela’s minister of oil Tareck El-Aissami to discuss avenues of further cooperation and develop an effective action plan for the next phase.
