Madrid, SANA- International Tourism Trade Fair, FITUR 2023 kicked off on Wednesday in the Spanish capital city of Madrid with the participation of Syria.
Assistant Minister of Tourism, Ghiyath al-Farah, head of the Syrian delegation to the event, told SANA reporter that the participation of Syria in the Fair is an indication to the recovery of the tourism sector and the return of security and stability to the country.
“The Fair is an opportunity for marketing tourism in the country and encouraging tourists to come to Syria,” Al-Farah said.
He added that the Syrian pavilion presents information to all visitors about the facilitation provided by the Tourism Ministry and Syrian authorities regarding the visas.
The Fair will last to January 22nd.
