US-South Korean joint air drills extended

Seoul, SANA- The South Korean Air Force has announced the extension of the joint air drills with the United States, which is the largest of its kind, under the pretext of the DPRK’s recent missile tests.

The South Korean Air Force said in a statement today: “The joint air forces have agreed to extend the (Wake Storm) drills that were launched on October 31, given the North’s recent provocations,” the South Korean Air Force said in a statement today.

The United States and South Korea continue a series of provocations against the DPRK, as the two sides carried out joint naval drills last September with the participation of more than twenty ships, including the American nuclear-powered aircraft carrier (Ronald Reagan).
