Damascus, SANA-Minister of Agriculture Ahmad al-Kadri affirmed on Tuesday that Syria is free from any botanical or animal epidemic according to the experts of UN Food and agriculture organization FAO who carried out field tours in the Syrian markets and farms.
Al-Kadri, meeting Chairman and members of Chambers of Agriculture’s federation in the Syrian cities, said the role of the federation is very important in marketing the products and developing the agrarian sector, pointing out to the beginning of working in the national program for numbering and registering the animal wealth.
He underlined the need for heading towards the medical crops which achieved high execution rates and adopting new 16 varieties which fit the environmental circumstances.
