Aleppo, SANA-The Russian community in Aleppo province celebrated Thursday the 77th anniversary of Russia’s victory over Nazism in World War II.
The Russian reconciliation center organized the celebration, in cooperation with the Russian community in Aleppo at Saadallah al-Jaberi Square during which the Russian national anthems were played, and the victory slogan was distributed to the participants, as well as the Syrian and Russian flags were raised.
Russia commemorates the anniversary of the victory over Nazism in the Great Russian Patriotic War on May 9th, each year, which marked the beginning of a new phase in world history and put an end to Nazism and Fascism, which tried to take over the world in the 1940s.
