Ankara, SANA- Istanbul Governor’s Office announced on Thursday that an explosive device went off near the building of a non-governmental institution in the Gaziosmanpaşa district of Istanbul, and no casualties were reported.
The governor’s office said in a statement that the accident had shattered the building’s glass, and that the surveillance cameras had spotted an unidentified woman who approached the building in the morning and left an improvised explosive device near it
This incident comes a day after one person was killed and four others were injured when an explosive device went off in a bus carrying prison guards in the northwestern Turkish province of Bursa yesterday.
